Contact Lagos Bullion
The only way to reach the desk is by email at editor@lagosbullion.com.
How to reach us
Write to editor@lagosbullion.com with a clear subject line and a short note. We read every message, but we do not promise a response time. If your message is about a factual error on the site, include the page URL and the exact sentence you believe is wrong.
There is no phone number, no WhatsApp line, and no office address for the desk. We are a small editorial team, not a customer support centre, and email is the only channel we can manage without losing focus on the checks themselves.
What we will help with
We will correct a factual error on Lagos Bullion, re-check a broker page if you point to a changed condition, and consider a reader question about how we tested something. If you found a broken link or a page that will not load on a phone, tell us and we will fix it.
We are also open to suggestions for brokers we have not covered, as long as they accept clients from Nigeria and offer gold trading. But we do not take requests to rank a broker higher, write a positive review, or remove a negative note. Those requests are ignored.
What we will not do
We do not help with account problems, deposit failures, withdrawal delays, or any dispute between you and a broker. We are not a regulator, a lawyer, or a recovery agent. If a broker is holding your money, contact the broker's support, then the regulator it claims, and then a licensed financial ombudsman if one exists.
We do not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews, or paid placement at any price. We do not sell links, and we do not take money to change a rating. Any offer to pay for coverage on Lagos Bullion will be declined and the sender ignored.
What to send for each kind of question
For a question about funding a Lagos Bullion account, send the exact payment method you used (local NGN bank transfer, Visa/Mastercard debit card, e-payment, or crypto), the amount in ₦, and the date and time you initiated the transfer. If the deposit has not reflected, include a screenshot or PDF of the transaction receipt from your bank or payment provider, ensuring any sensitive card digits are masked. This lets our team trace the payment on FxPro’s side without asking you for follow-up details.
For a question about gold (XAU/USD) trading conditions, state your account number, the platform you trade on (MT4, MT5, cTrader, or FxPro Edge), and the exact symbol or order ticket number involved. If you are asking why a position closed or why margin changed, include the time the event occurred in West Africa Time. Because 1 standard lot of gold is 100 oz and one pip is 0.01, quoting the price move you saw helps us check the reference price around 4275.0 against the trade log.
For a question about regulation or security, tell us which entity your account is under and whether you have already checked the SEC Nigeria register of capital market operators. If you are asking about FxPro’s licences, specify whether you want FCA (UK), CySEC, or FSCA details. Do not send your password, PIN, or full card number in any message. For account verification issues, send only the document type you are trying to upload (for example, national ID or utility bill) and the error message you see, not the document itself.
What we can and cannot answer
We can answer questions about how Lagos Bullion content applies to gold (XAU/USD) trading on FxPro platforms, including how margin works at the maximum leverage available in Nigeria. At up to 1:200 via the offshore entity, a 0.10-lot gold position needs about $85.50 margin, but we will explain that this is a cap and not a target you must use. We can also clarify the difference between FCA, CySEC, and FSCA regulation and why the SEC Nigeria register matters for local traders.
We cannot give personal trading advice, such as whether you should buy or sell gold at the current price around 4275.0, how many lots to open, or where to set a stop-loss. That decision depends on your own risk tolerance, account size in ₦, and market view. We also cannot tell you that a specific leverage ratio is safe for you; using high leverage on gold can amplify losses as fast as gains, and one pip move on a standard lot is 0.01, which can mean a large ₦ swing.
We cannot answer questions about another broker’s spreads, swaps, or minimum deposits, and we will not state any spread or commission for FxPro as a fixed number because those costs depend on your account type, platform, and market volatility. We can explain what a spread consists of and where to find it on MT4 or MT5, but we will not label any cost as low or competitive. For account-specific billing issues, we may need to refer you to FxPro support directly.
The response time to expect
You should expect a first response from Lagos Bullion within one business day for most questions sent through the contact form or email. If you write on a weekday morning in Nigeria, we often reply the same day, but we do not promise a fixed hour. Questions that require checking trade logs or payment confirmations with FxPro may take up to two business days because we verify facts before answering, especially when the question involves gold (XAU/USD) margin or leverage.
Your response time depends on the completeness of the information you send. If you include your account number, platform, and a clear description of the issue, we can answer faster than if we have to ask for missing details. For example, a question about why a 0.10-lot gold position used a certain margin is quicker to resolve if you tell us the leverage setting on your account and the time the position was opened, rather than just saying margin changed.
We do not offer live chat support, so do not expect an instant reply. If your matter is urgent, such as a stuck withdrawal of ₦ via local bank transfer, note that in the subject line and we will prioritise it, but we still cannot guarantee a same-day resolution. For account lockouts or platform errors on MT4, MT5, cTrader, or FxPro Edge, contact FxPro directly through their own support channels for the fastest help, then let us know if you need content clarification afterward.
How a correction request is handled
To request a correction on any Lagos Bullion page, send the exact URL of the article, the sentence or number you believe is wrong, and the source you are relying on. If the correction involves gold (XAU/USD) figures such as the reference price around 4275.0, one pip = 0.01, or 1 lot = 100 oz, include a screenshot or link to a verifiable market data source. We will check the claim against FxPro’s official materials and our own records before making any change.
We treat every correction request seriously and will respond within two business days with either a confirmation that the page has been updated or an explanation of why the original text stands. If we do change a number, we will not silently edit it; we will add a visible note on the page stating the correction date and what was changed. For example, if a leverage figure was misstated, we will correct it to the verified cap available in Nigeria and remove any unsupported claim about spreads or fees.
We will not change a fact simply because you disagree with it, and we will not remove a risk warning about high leverage on gold trading. If you believe a statement is inaccurate because it conflicts with another review, send us both sources and we will investigate. The regulator caveat that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA, and that you should confirm any broker on the SEC Nigeria register, will remain unless an official regulator update requires otherwise.
Sending account-specific information safely
When you need to send account-specific information to Lagos Bullion, never include your FxPro password, MT4/MT5 investor password, or full card number in an email or contact form. The only identifiers we need are your account number (which is not secret) and the platform you use, such as MT4, MT5, cTrader, or FxPro Edge. If we must see a payment receipt for a local NGN bank transfer, mask all digits except the last four of any card or account number.
For verification-related questions, do not attach your national ID, passport, or utility bill to us. Instead, describe the document type and the exact error message you received on the FxPro platform. We can tell you what FxPro generally accepts for Nigerian residents, but the actual upload and approval must happen through FxPro’s secure portal. Sending identity documents to a content site increases your risk of fraud and is never required to get an answer from us.
If you are asking about a specific gold (XAU/USD) trade, include the order ticket number and the time the trade was placed in West Africa Time, but do not send your full trade history. We can work with a single ticket to check margin, pip movement, or the reference price around 4275.0. Remember that one pip on gold is 0.01, so a small price change can mean a large ₦ difference on a standard lot of 100 oz.
Escalating a complaint about our content
If you believe a Lagos Bullion article contains a factual error that could mislead a Nigerian trader, send your complaint with the word COMPLAINT in the subject line, the article URL, and the specific paragraph you dispute. We will review it within three business days and reply with a decision. Complaints about unsupported claims, such as a spread described as low or competitive, are taken very seriously because we do not publish numbers we cannot verify from FxPro’s official sources.
We will not defend an error once proven. If a correction is warranted, we will update the page and add a dated correction note at the bottom of the article, visible to all readers. For example, if we ever wrote that a minimum deposit is a specific amount in ₦, we would remove that number and replace it with a statement that the minimum depends on the account type and funding method, which is the only accurate way to describe it without a verified figure.
If your complaint is about trading losses or a dispute with FxPro itself, we cannot act as an ombudsman or reverse any transaction. We are a content site, not a broker. You should contact FxPro support directly and, if needed, the SEC Nigeria or the regulator relevant to your account entity. We can only correct what we publish, not what happens on a live gold (XAU/USD) position opened at high leverage.
